Yoga 1 is the perfect class for the yoga beginner. Melanie, a 20-year fitness veteran, has designed this 30-minute class to teach basic yoga techniques and terminology, including some basic poses and positions. She also shows you some more advanced positions you can try as you progress. When you’ve mastered Yoga 1 or you’re looking to change up your routine, we recommend Yoga 2.

Tip: It is best to watch this yoga video first so you begin to understand the techniques and terminology before jumping in.

Melanie says, “It’s important to remember that you always need to listen to your body when you do Yoga. Some days you will be able to stretch more than others, so be sure not to overdo it even on positions you’re familiar and comfortable with.”
